What Is The Grunge Era

This era the Dark Era past cosmological decade 100 will be characterized by a universe effectively locked in absolute zero temperatures full of absolutely nothing but a sea of scattered complex particles that themselves will decay into the abyss of eternity.

Grunge was born out of the Pacific Northwest region of the United States notably Seattle Washington. The grunge subculture is an American subculture that began in the 1980s and exploded in the early 1990s comprised of alternative-rock music fans. Influenced by grunge music the 90s grunge style was a defining moment in fashion.

Kind of rock because it basically was created to make a new era of music in which you dont dance unlike every other previous era up to the 90s. The word grunge which means grime or dirt came to describe a music genre fashion style and lifestyle exclusively attached to the Pacific Northwest and specifically Seattle.

That is why this style of music is also known as the Seattle sound. The grunge era was formed by many strong and now famous influential musicians. Its a word that was used to describe a number of different alternative bands from the region in 1980s and then also into the 1990s with bands like Nirvana Pearl Jam Soundgarden Alice in Chains Mudhoney and Screaming Trees.

Grunge is often identified with distorted heavy metal variation guitar riffs. With the rise in popularity of 90s alternative bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam people translated the grunge music scene to fashion and so the grunge style era began. The idea that Nirvana was the start of Grunge is what some refer to as a shortcut to thinking.

Many were beginning to see the effects of capitalism and didnt support it. Grunge is actually a sub-genre of alternative rock in the mid-1980s. History of Grunge Fashion Grunge fashion was developed by Generation X and is a reflection of their frustration with the side effects of the eighties economical upswing.
